This is a feature request. It will make it easier for user to compare tracing result of different runs.

Hi @qqfish—it’s not clear what you’re asking. Are you talking about the
Chrome-like trace viewer, or the graph-based performance visualizer?
Could you please provide a screenshot? Are you suggesting that all nodes
with the same op be of the same color? That all nodes with the same name
be of the same color, across different runs/tags/graphs? Something else?

All node with the same op should be of the same color. And this color should not change across different runs.

+1 to this issue. Note that timeline already does this, but it cannot be used with tf.functions. We should address this issue to make debugging tf.function performance as easy as debugging graph performance.
