paymentMethod parameter is required but not required by Stripe

Following the 'accept a payment' guide here - https://stripe.com/docs/payments/integration-builder

However Omnipay throws an error stating the paymentMethod is required, however this does not match Stripe's API docs which mentions it's not required and you can create an intent without this.
