Hostname rewrites, triggers relative URL warnings

This example, seems to be no longer recommended, because of this PR, vercel/next.js#33410.

Is there any way to still enforce the rewriting behavior?

Odd as it might be returning return NextResponse.rewrite(new URL('/_sites/' + site, request.url)) does the trick, and doesn't cause infinite redirects.
