This is an issue to track source cleanup and light refactoring.

  • reorganize package.json
  • update all dependencies
  • reorganize scripts
  • update travis config
  • implement eslint-config-webpack
  • clean up linting errors
  • clean up linting warnings

will tackle these once #1057 is complete

  • remove inline eslint-disable comments
  • remove rule overrides

Please feel free to comment or make suggestions, but understand that this is purely for maintenance of the codebase as-is.
