Mobile app can create post without a topic, when permissions are set not to allow that.

Mobile app users can still create "no topic" posts even if permissions are set to disallow it and desktop users cannot. Tested on iOS.

Adding to this, it looks as if the mobile client actually can't specify any topic at all, and if there is no topic in the stream yet then I think it's able to create the first post, which falls into (no topic).

Users really should be able to create topics in the mobile app.

OK adding again, users CAN create new topics on mobile but it is completely not obvious how to do it. You have to start writing a message in an existing topic, then EDIT the topic (that's what it looks like you'll be doing anyway) and post your message. It will actually create a NEW topic and not edit the old one.

This is extremely unintuitive and really needs some improvement to make it crystal clear how to post a new topic on a mobile device.

@vanclute Thanks for the report. I've split off the second issue in your latter comments as #4379.

This would be a good issue for someone to fix. The approach will look something like:

• Store the relevant setting in RealmState, and populate it in realmReducer, much like the existing property canCreateStreams.
  • If it's not already in the InitialData type, add it.
• At ComposeBox, add the setting to the props and connect call, and use it.
